Bluetooth Manager

I have a HP2210 and Haicom BT GPS receiver 'hard-wired' into the car. This means that all I need do id start the car and the BT GPS receiver turns on automatically. I can then select from the iPAQ the bluetooth connection and away I go. My question is - is it possible to configure the iPAQ bluetooth manager to automatically select the bluetooth connection to the GPS without me having to click on the device shortcut every time the link is broken (e.g. I turn the car off).

There is a registry tweak that will allow the last connected device to be reconnected automatically.

You will need a registry editro to do this:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Widcomm\BtConfig\Autoconnect\000x
(000x is 0008 for com8 )
add an entry (DWORD)

BtBrowserEnabled=0

It will stop the BT browser from popping up, but the BT GPS will be automatically reconnected.
