Toshiba e740

Hi i have a Toshiba e740 with a belkin bluetooth compact flash card and a tom tom navigator 3.0
i am using a sd card for the maps i have used a 128 sd card and also a tosbiba 512 mb sd card and i have even try the deframented that somebody has mention but my gps signal still crashes after around 15 to 20 mins i have aslso turn off my points of intrests but still crashes. any thing else i can try people!!!

also be intrested to chat with anyone who has a tosbiba e740 with tom tom and if you have problems with it crashing.
my toshiba doesnt have blue tooth built in i have a compact flash bluetooth made by belkin does anyone have in expertise in the area.
oh excuse my spelling hope someone can help me

I use an e740 with TomTom 3, a Globalsat BC307 CF card and a 256Mb SD card for the maps.
I have just completed a round trip to Cornwall totalling about 8 hours with no problems with the e740, although I now always ensure that I shutdown TT before I switch the e740 off, as I have had the dreaded "dim LED" problem with the BC307 in the past.
I suggest you may have a problem with the TomTom GPS driver - check the forums as there are known issues with it.
