As per subject! Is it Traffic master or somewhere else?

Hi Abo,

PeteKK is correct it is ITIS Holdings. However the Highways Agency also provides data. Unfortunately Traffic Master doesn’t provide any data.

If you have a look on the TomTom support pages you’ll see where the data comes from for each Traffic enabled country:

TomTom Support FAQs wrote:

Netherlands:
Verkeerscentrum Nederland, the source of all regular traffic information in The Netherlands.

Germany:
Deutsche Daten Gesellschaft. The DDG collects data from various public authorities and where no adequate data-collection is available, has own detection equipment. VIZ Hessen, who acts as the national TIC in Germany concerning the "official" police traffic information as back-up, check and completion source.

France:
Source: MediaMobile. MediaMobile collects information from various public and private sources, as well as floating car data.

UK:
Source: ITIS and Highways Agency. ITIS is the TMC provider from the UK, with own detection and collection mechanisms available The Highways Agency has a virtual traffic information centre, based on information from various public administrations.

Regards,
