Copilot CF Unit and Ipaq 4700

I have Copilot 4 with a Copilot supplied CF GPS card. This works fine on my Ipaq 2200 but I now have an Ipaq 4700 at work and the CF GPS unit is not recognized and is reported as a Modem.

Does any one have this system working on a 4700 or know what will work. I would like to keep to a CF card rather than bluetooth/

A modem is not that bad - it's a serial interface after all. Does it say which COM port? If so, have you tried to use that port?

Do you remember if you had to install a driver for the CF GPS on the 2210? (Have a look in the list of installed programs)
