Depends on what your preferences are. The big advantage of CoPilot is the route planning. If you only drive from A to B then you may not need that.

The map providers are different, so you can't really compare the two.

Not at the moment, you'll have to wait a week or so.

It depends on what you are looking for – if you just want a simple to use GPS software than CP5 is better because of use of NavTech maps, a cross-country travel within Europe and easy to use address search. On the other extend if you are looking for software where you can change a lot of features and download third party software than TT3 is better it is just that you may need to spend weekends trying to get things to work. Over all CP5 is much better software for must of the users.

I am currently a TT3 user and considering moving over to CoPilot5. I use the TOMTOM mainly when towing a caravan.

Therefore I am very interested in the RV-Friendly Routing option within CoPilot. Has anyone tried this and can make any comments etc.

Regards

Mark

I have switched my setup to RV routing and will test it a bit. Plenty of narrow streets and sharp turns around here ;-).

Well, there certainly is a difference. It is now preferring the major roads over residential areas, and it plans some of my usual routes slightly different. Looks like it is trying any turns that are more than 90 degrees, and it even sacrifices some travel distance for that,. From visual judgement I would say that a RV would be able to negotiate the routes it is planning. Nice.

Thank you for that excellent feedback.

I thank that has just helped me to make up my mind about taking the plunge over to Copilot 5. The order will be placed asap.

Many thanks
