TT3 Removing Recent location entries & using without car

So just purchased the HP2210 + TT3 bundle after some looking around and have spent a little time getting used to it. One of the things I cannot find info on in the supplied CD is how to remove entries in the "Recent Locations" list, it's very annoying to have this list when it has just been used for lookups and finds and not for route planning. - Anyone know how to do this ?
Second question - is there a way of using the HP with the Tom Tom GPS mouse without having to use the car kit ? i.e. as a handheld ? - not really what I bought it for ( otherwise would have bought a card based GPS receiver) but wondered if it could be done

First question - no, cannot be done. You could delete your preferences file, but then (surprise, surprise) you would lose your preferences...

Second question - the receiver needs some power source. what you can do is craft a battery power pack with an iPAQ power plug, and then splice the cable between the HP and the receiver and solder this battery pack in (don't forget the switch).

You may want to consider a BT receiver...
