etrex vista - jornada 520

I've read a few posts on connecting these two but never actually read the final solution. Can they be connected ? Do I need a null modem between them and what's the easiest way of doing it ?

I can't seem to find a 520 serial/null modem cable at PC-Mobile who generally have a solution if one's available, they do have them for the 54 & 56x series but I don't know if these share the same connectors.

What you need is a 520 to serial cable, a null modem adapter and a serial cable to GPS. Ideally a one piece cable that connects the two devices is a neater solution.

Jornada 54/56x have USB, 520 does not but they all have the same serial interface.

So as far as connecting GPS is concerned, 52/54/56x can use the same cables.
