What does the SatNav manual say re POI database type required ?
Also, don't confuse normal 'navigate to' POI with Camera POI that requires the ability to give advance warnings.
You're better off asking on a Audi forum. _________________ DashCam:

If you can find that it can be done and the format required, come back here and we can point you in the right direction.
It might be an outside chance that someone here has the same system as you and knows how to import the PGPSW data to it. |

Its just that i saw Audi on the database and referencing Garmin poi downloader?
Now there appears to be no reference to Audi at all on the database
Thanks again for the replies anyway |

There is a free tool here that will create the POI files on an SD Card for you to import.

No offence. But that site looks very dodgy to me |

Only if it downloads the database without a subscription.
But a good 'heads up' for someone to test to see if it does. |

Not dodgy in my opinion.
Looking through the source code ( https://github.com/mcaddy/audipoi/blob/master/PocketGpsWorld/SpeedCameras.cs ) for the PGPSW download stuff it requests the user's username and password. It essentially logs the user in programatically and downloads the database within the program instead of within a browser.
It's not too different from what someone did for the Garmin database.

On the contrary. Github is the leading provider for hosting git repositories for source code. As a software developer, having an open source project like this where I can see the code before downloading the binary is heavily advantageous as it allows anyone to check that the application does what it says on the tin .
The program works well. However, if you're having trouble viewing cameras at less than 50yd you will need to update the max zoom directive in the info package.

I have a TT and download the 'other' GPX files. These I then upload using the My Audi website. I use the Audi Connect special destinations link and convert them to SD card format via this site. I would have thought the OP with an A4 would need to do the same? |

Use the "Other - CSV" version of the database - this is the most compatible for the Audi MMI
Thanks |
