where is the file kept that shows the 'WARNING disclaimer'
every time you boot the 2599 ?

Can this wording be changed ?[/u]

Not easily, I believe there's a patch that may allow you to remove it but it's not simple and there's no guarantee it won't brick your nuvi. I don't think it allows you to change it though.

I can understand why you might want to get rid of it, but just change the wording? Why on earth would you want to do that?

I think putting your address on a portable Satnav is risky. You've given your address to someone who knows your out.
