Yeah, TTH told me 8.85 too.
EDIT: Now that it's installed, my 750 is confirming that it's 8.85.

Currently downloading V885. Size 229mb for UK&ROI map.
EDIT... downloaded & installation completed in 8 minutes.
EDIT2... I've only quickly checked one location to see if TT have finally updated one glaring error in Hull city centre. They have!!
St Stephens shopping mall opened in 2007, and a lot of the surrounding streets were swallowed up by the development. The new map finally shows the new roads. A mere 5 years or so (probably 6-7 since work actually began) to update the maps. |

After map updated to V885, TomTom Home show message that Map has not been updated for more than 20 weeks and Mapshare is not offered. Any one has this problem too? XL340TM and App 9.400 _________________ XL340TM, App 9.510 OS 842337

That is the standard dumb message that is always shown whenever a new map has been made available. Look for the mapshares to be offered within a week for 885 and ignore the crap about the map being 20 weeks out of date. _________________ David |

Loads of the corrections I made to my previous map have reverted, and I'm having to do them all again. This includes street names, turn restrictions, unblock street and add roundabout corrections. |

Sadly not. Really annoying - I keep thinking it's offering me a route up M6Toll and I decline it. That's one poor aspect of TomTom devices - when offering those choices, you don't get the option to see what or where the toll road is before deciding.
