| Hi does anyone know what type of sat nav the Ford Focus Titanium x has fitted and can it be updated with camera alerts from Pocket GPS ? Many Thanks |

my focus has the sync 2 system fitted, i've searched on the forum for an answer too, it looks like its a ford main stealer update only  |

Just thought i would let people know that the 2016 NX & I believe FX Navigation Map updates are now available via Ford dealers for £78.
This also includes TMC (Traffic Management Control) that redirects you around traffic jams.
This was removed from the NX DVD for 2014-2015 map updates.
I believe the last one previously with TMC was the 2013 map. |

No the ford system does not allow for 3rd party integration.
This might change when Sync 3 comes along, although i suspect not as it is a engineering decision in order to protect against unauthorized access to other aspect of the vehicles systems for safety. |

Or Fords way of overcharging for out of date map updates.
Sadly I have become a very disillusioned ford owner after over 30 years of ford ownership since this new Mondeo came out. |
