Possibly, but it sounds like the authority was not enforcing NSL on them, but now intends to do that. |

It's more the fact that for years it has been rammed down out throats that they are not cash cows, they are for safety reasons (although drivers know different). Now, because the commissioner didn't get his own way in a referendum, he is blatantly stating that he will use the cameras as a revenue generating tool (as well as getting businesses to sponsor cars, uniforms, etc).
As an aside, how will that work? I thought revenue from cameras went to the treasury? Isn't that why awareness courses are offered instead of a fine, because the force gets a cut of the course fee?
