Comes out early because it takes so flaming long to download and install. I've just contributed a couple of precious hours of what remains of my life to two sets of Europe. _________________ Dennis

Why can't they tell you the map will not fit before you spend 4 hours downloading it then have to spend another 3 hours downloading the correct one - or maybe the incorrect one then realise and spend another 3 hours Next time my daughter is going to be told to do it herself I will stick with my old One V3 UK, 20 minutes all done. _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

And in the meantime, just for interest, Map v950 has just been released for the Renault R-Link TomTom, UK&ROI price £55 - there is no Map Update Service, so every new map is full price, £20 dearer than the same for a GO device. That is the joy of built in devices. And the Renault web forum is dead, for many months now, so you can't complain to anybody. _________________ Dennis

Dennis, someone has to pay for their F1 engine development which at the moment must be costing a fortune using all the engine tokens to catch up. |

To be honest, I thought I already paid for the new engines with the £800+ extra for the flaming R-Link TomTom thing - could have got two or three standalones that actually work for that much! _________________ Dennis

Or when something causes issue with internet connection why does it not allow you to resume/skip backup - fortunately I now have reasonable broadband speed so only a couple of hours upgrade cycle (if it goes right) _________________ J. |
