This is how I do it:
Create a dedicated folder as a 'working directory' I've created a D:\PGPSW but if you don't have partitions then C:\PGPSW will be OK.
This is where everything is saved to.
Download the PGPSW Camera Zip file to \PGPSW:
At this point I always use the same filename to avoid duplication. Simply click the existing filename which in my case is PGPSW Cameras.Zip. If you don't already have one then rename it to this or you're preferred name:
Once saved the zip will need to be extracted. Using my program I now only need to extract the camera files because I already have a set of BMP and WAV files in place in the working directory:
If you use my converter program you are looking for all 3 fields to be green with matching CSV\GPX, BMP and WAV files:
For the WAV files to be processed you need to ensure you have SOX.EXE in the POILoader folder:
The correct version of SOX is here:
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/downloads/sox.zip
Next stage is to use the Process button in the menu and when complete you should have a display similar to:
In the above example I have only processed the Gatso, Redlight and Specs cameras. I have set all the overspeed seconds to zero so I only get a single warning regardless of whether I decide to slowdown or not.
Note the number of GPI cameras as this will be checked later.
Here is the sequence of events in POILoader:
Note at this next point that the folder name is automatically populated by POILoader so PGPSW is the default filename going forward:
When complete you should see this and the number of cameras can be checked:
That's it, you should have a .GPI file on the Garmin with your preferred filename and with the latest date.

Till I get told off for too large pictures. Problem is that when shrunk some of the text is illegable.
I'm intending to have a look at some of the really big ones on Wed when I'm next at the PC because they are wider than the page.
Have I missed anything ? If so that's a Wed job as well _________________ DashCam:

Looks good to me but I've never bothered with the sound files etc so that side is a mystery to me _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I'm the opposite, I rely on them to attract my attention and check the speedo. _________________ DashCam:

I know you've got the information somewhere on this site, but where can I download your converter program - it looks nice.

As a double check, once installed and run, make sure the version number is the same as my example above (in the program top menu bar)

Where do we get this CSV to GPX converter, as I have never used that method before?
I usually zip through manually whether I want warnings for the camera types and at what distance just using POI loader. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Try reading this thread. Specifically, my post, two before yours and Kremmen's which was the last one before you posted. |

Thanks. Missed it at first glance as all I saw was some message about getting a whip for a cat. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

I have gone back to adding the cameras manually as the CSV sheet does not have an option for distance setting as I prefer to do, rather than time. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

D=S x T. T= D/S. Simples.
However: @ Kremmen. Is S the camera speed or your vehicle speed? |
