help in understanding this website

Hi I am trying to catch up with the rest of the world in understanding and using stuff from the web. My question is how does the speed camera bit work, I mean how ofton do you guys update the data base how do I know when a new data base is out etc etc, I would be really grateful if someone could give me a real step step step guide to how I use this site and how it works. I will list some silly questions to start the ball rolling Very Happy

1 How ofton is the speed camera database updated
2 how do i know when its updated

1. Weekly normally, but the database manager does have the occasional week off.
2. Look at the date under the big Download Here icon to the right of your post. You can also get alerts when it is updated, but I neither know or care how to get these. I use the principle that it's updated on a Wednesday some time, usually in the early evening.

If you go to this page and click on "Watch this topic for replies" towards the bottom of the page you will get an email every time a new database is released.
