Hi, this is my 1st post on the forum and hoping to see if anyone has had the same issue.
I have just bought an Active 10 and SD card for all National Parks 1:50k. When I insert the card, the unit recognises it and a brings up the title "All National Parks". I select this and it brings up the list for all the parks, but when I select a park I just get a pale blue screen on the planning page.
If I zoom out I can see an icon for each of the national parks (circle with a cross in it) at their location relative to a map of the UK, but again there is just a plain pale blue screen in the background.
I hooked up tp SatSYNC this morning and upgraded to the latest software.
Two questions:
1. There is a little yellow slider tab on the SD card, does it matter which position this is in?
2. There is a grey icon of a padlock next to the title "All National Parks" as mentioned earlier, does this mean that the SD card needs unlocking?
I have emailed Tech Support at Satmap yesterday but I am just asking in case anyone can shine any light on the issue?
Thanks for reading.

Hi Fire-bobby
I don't know anything about the mapping system you've purchased but regards the SD card.
The small slider is a lock device (I believe to make it read only), with the chamfer on the card in the top right, the card is locked if the slider is down and unlocked if up.
Hope this helps _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav

Hi J,
Yeah tried that mate - once I had the cursor over the park I zoomed fully in and also fully out, but to no avail.
I'll get in touch with Tech Support by phone on Wednesday and see what they have to say. My gut feeling is that I've got a dud SD card.
Either way I will post a comment on the forum just in case anyone else encounters this problem.
Cheers

Hi fire-bobby, this happened to me once, I think I solved it by switching the A10 off with the SD card in, removing the batteries for a minute or two, replacing the batteries, switching the A10 back on, walking outside, leaving it alone for about 10 minutes and when I returned to it, it had sorted itself out.
Like you, I had updated to the latest software versions before performing this "reboot". _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Hi All,
Issue resolved!
I turned the unit on this morning as I was going to follow the procedure that Ali advised, to my surprise the maps appeared straight away.
My assumption is that the SD card was not compatible with the software version that was with the unit that I bought. Once I had upgraded the software via SatSYNC to version 1.5 that appeared to resolve the issue.
When I first upgraded the software the unit still showed version 1.334, now 24 hours later it correctly shows the upgrade to version 1.5.
I hope this helps anyone else who encounters this issue, and may I say thank you for your input and advice to help me out.
Best regards and cheers.
