Where can I buy an iPAQ 2110 + Tom Tom Navigator 3 bluetooth + car kit?
I wanted to buy from http://www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk, but they're out of stock and don't know when they'll get more.
I want to buy from someone who offer good customer service, tech support and backup.
Any suggestions? _________________ Geraint

Geraint - did you get sorted? I am looking to but the TT3 (I already have the Ipaq & memory card) did you find a good deal? I am currently looking between Total PDA & Global Positioning Systems. |

I used Total PDA, and they gave me excellent service. I tried getting £30 off because the system was £30 cheaper on another website, but that website didn't have any in stock - so I didn't get my £30 off. Never mind. But Total PDA did give me a very friendly and efficient service.
TomTom 3 on iPAQ 2210 is fantastic. The voice is plenty loud enough - even with my wife's family having a loud conversation all around me. I haven't tried it doing 200mph down the motorway with the windows open yet though...!
One minor niggle with the iPAQ though. As part of the setup, you have to install Outlook (not Outlook Express). At one point during the installation, I was asked to insert a CD that I didn't have. So I called Total PDA technical support. It was outside tech support hours, so I got routed through to sales, who weren't actually able to help me. I didn't want to wait until morning, so I carried on fiddling. I clicked the ignore button (or something like that) and the install continued without incident.
Had great fun out and about today. Trying to get across Bournemouth, I plotted a route opting for the shortest route instead of the quickest. Great fun. Saw some parts of Bournemouth I'd never seen before, including some really nice houses. Also one or two blocked roads which TT3 thought I should drive through
In summary then, BLOODY FANTASTIC - Total PDA, HP iPAQ 2210 and TomTom 3. _________________ Geraint
