can you get a spoken speed cam warning on garmin like you can on tomtom
just put on cam data base getting a bong warning and thats it even though i downloaded and put on voice files any ideas ? iam not very good with garmin only got it for the life time map updates Laughing Out Loud

If you do a Search for poiloader sox.exe, there are numerous Topics on the subject. I'm sure one of them can point you in the right direction better than I can. Smile

ok put the sox.exe in the install folder of the poi uploader have tried the spoken warning as mp3 did not work now will give the waw files a go in the garmin settings for poi warning what do i need to put it on for this to work ?
single tone continuous tone or off ?

if you only want to be reminded once then single tone, otherwise continuous tone

mp3 format won't work on the garmin, so you must use the wav files

I thought the rule of thumb was "if the Garmin has an mp3 player, then use the mp3 voice files. If not, use the .wavs"

most of the latest garmin devices do not support mp3 playback - so unless OP can advise which version they have I would still say not supported and must use wav files.

i got told originally that mp3 could be used on my 2390 but then got told later when queried couldn't get it working that audio must be in wav format

the unit is a 2545 lm and it dose support mps anyway got it working with the wav files thanks for all your help one more thing can you get custom voices for garmin ?

according to their product specifications it does not support mp3
