How can I change the TomTom default alerts - Bell1, Beep1, Boing etc with a Pocket GPS voice? I didn't download an OGG file when I first downloaded the Speed database so the option is not showing and can't see how to activate this option now.

Presumably on the speed cameras download page you're selecting "Download same format"? Instead go to the "Download a Different Version" section, where you can also select which voice pack you want to download. _________________ Anita

I did download the .ogg files with my latest database update. Never used the ogg files before. I do like the plain english camera warning that the lady voices. The .Oggs do work on my T.T. ONE, but there seems to be no method of adjusting the length of time/distance before which the ogg files sounds its warning. Am I missing something? I would like to be able to hear them a little earlier if possible. I can change the time period/distance for the beeps and bugles, but not the Oggs. Is it possible to change this? _________________ Too many people "search for the zero inside themselves". Sadly, many fail to find even that.

Have you tried: Main Menu - Change Preferences - Manage POIs - Warn when near POI to bring the pocketgps uk list up. Select each in turn selecting NO to Remove Warning? Then enter the distance warning. The screen asking Is this the sound you want to select - choose YES.
