I haven't tried to use it recently, but I have always found it a waste of space - refusing to work with some browsers, and behaving differently from browser to browser for those it would work with!
I've given up, and use the planner at http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/ instead. You have to sign up in order to access the 1:25k maps - but it's free.
Don't be put off by the "Highlands" bit. Although the site is primarily about the Scottish Highlands, you can use it to access maps and plan routes anywhere in England, Wales and Scotland. Routes can be downloaded to your computer in a form which is compatible with your SatMap. _________________ Roger

Hi goldfrog,
Only just noticed your post. I had no problem logging on today (12 Nov) with Chrome. However I have sympathy for rkm_hm as I have never found it easy to use. Satmap have promised an upgrade but it is not here yet. _________________ LostMike

Yes Please upgrade, Not very easy to use, and the map area is way to small. Needs to be full screen |
