I've recently updated to Navcore 9.400 and just noticed that my phone book entries seem corrupted. All the numbers are present but the names now have numerical values instead of letters. I've tried deleting and retrieving the contacts from my phone and the same thing happens. Has anyone any idea how to fix it? |

Just an update on this. I deleted contacts list via explorer and then retrieved again and same result so I did a full backup via explorer back to previous Navcore and updated again and everything is fine. I don't know whether to delete my contacts list again now I'm back running 9.400 to see if that's causing the problem. |

Right, just deleted phone book entries via 530 and then retrieved them again from phone. Guess what? All numbers present and correct and all names have numerical values. For instance 'AA' the first entry in my phone book comes up as '4141' with '41' representing the letter 'A'. I'll have to do a backup now to get the names back. |

Strange indeed. But it's nearly there, 41 is the value for a capital A in the ASCII table (in hexadecimal) |

I'll take your word for it but perhaps thats the answer. I should have taken more values but I've just performed a backup so don't want to do it again. |
