haicom 302E problems

I have a haicom 302E cf-receiver with a siemens loox and tomtom3. My haicoms seems to work fine with gpsinfo (many satelites), but i have to change to com5 to let it work.
With tomtom3 i set the haicom on 'haicom gps" and "cf-generic". Everything seem to be correct, but i don't receive any satellites. Today in my car i received for a short period 2 satellites (not enough).
I try in tomtom3 to set the haicom on com5, but i can do it (just com3 available).

What can i do?

I've posted this answer once this evening already - though I appreciate that I'm going back through several days of posts.

Try NMEA 0183v2 4800 and CF_CARD_GENERIC. "Haicom GPS" is for SiRF chipset GPSes - Haicom GPSes with a model number that ends in E are Evermore chipset and could be confused by the SiRF configuration commands TomTom GPS sends if "Haicom GPS2 is selected.
