OK, Navman have released SP2 for SmartSTPro V2. Click here to go to Navman's website and then click on the 'Service Packs' box and follow the instructions.
Sorry, bit of a faux pas on my part; this is for the PPC only at the moment. _________________ Tim |

When I go to the page in the link, all I see is service pack 1. Are you sure it's sp2? |

Yes, I'm sure. Do you have the Navman Desktop loaded on your desktop? If so, start Navman Desktop and click 'Visit Navman for updates'.
When the Navman page has loaded, click on the (incorrectly spelt) sentence below 'Download details'.
On the next page click 'Run the Navman Update Program'.
In the 'Download program' window click 'Open' and then click 'Next'.
Select your product (Navman SmartST 4410_2 DEsktop) and click 'Next'.
You should arrive at the download page, with a 4Mb file to download in the bottom right hand corner.
If not, let me know and I'll see if I can post the link. _________________ Tim |

I found it the way you said. I was just thrown off by the fact that the link you posted only shows sp1, not your fault, I guess Navman should have posted it somewhere other than in their update program. I noticed something funny when reading the release notes though. They keep referring to the ICN, I thought that release was ages old by now?? |

SP2 for the iCN is in the pipeline, apparently. The release notes were written for both versions, I believe. _________________ Tim |

Hi all.
Downloaded it Friday afternoon with a good install, it all went fine.
Now the problems have started. I have experienced 3 BT dropouts this evening “Friday” (Since I have had a GPS, I have only experienced 1 drop since February. It’s used daily.) Also when you select route demonstrator, as previously done, it throw’s the GPS connection out of the window.
I will give it a good test over the weekend as I am working; I should clock up a few hundred or so miles.
Will give you an update Monday
Regards.

Well, I cannot get my PC to download the SP. I get an access violation the moment the update installer tries to look at the CD.
Anyone got a direct link to the new SP?
BTW - I'm using WinME on my system - could this be the cause? |

Hmmm, when I did the update I was never asked to install my original CD. Still, check your PM box. _________________ Tim |

Hi
The link that Tim gives at the beginning of this posting will take you straight to the Navman Website and SP2 is there :D
I've just looked at it, but it does not cover the iCN 630 yet, Ive been told that should follow
