|
|
I submitted 2 traffic-light cameras last week using this app. I had issues sending photos because the app crashed on me while doing so (bug report submitted), so submitted without photos.
When setting direction - all I could do was select this side, other side, or both sides... which I guess should work, however the picture of the cam on my submissions is showing as pointing due North. (I can submit pictures via email or via the app if you can sort a fix if that helps getting them logged...)
Is there a way for me to correctly indicate the correct direction?
Or is this something that you chaps do manually when you add it to the database?
Andy. |

we manually do it anyway but you could also edit your own submission and add a voice note saying 'south bound' or 'northbound' etc?

Same problem here, I add then retrospectively by scrolling map to point where saw camera that day and add them, heading always defaults to north south even when road running east west so it doesn't warn you . COuld the compass heading not be added to cameralert like it is on the website when submitting cam's?? |

Sounds like a good idea to me, so when operating in CP mode the correct heading can be entered. Presumably this would not be quite as accurate as the heading given by CA, but would at least put it 'in the right ball park' for MaFt's further checking. |

But on the next database update it will have the correct heading on it anyway...
This option only helps those who don't have a subscription.

it helps in the interim if your forgetful and don't get warned about a camera you have recently submitted due to the direction being wrong!
No worries though will submit them online in future, I was just being lazy and bodging it on phone by scrolling map
