I have just downloaded this onto my phone. As a motorcyclist I was hoping that there was a vibrate warning option, I may have missed it in the option if I have could you tell me where it is. I could then have the phone in my pocket and feel the warning as I approach the speed cameras. |

There isn't and that's mainly because we never considered it and until now it has never been suggested _________________ Darren Griffin |

I second that idea if it's possible.
Very handy.

i think we had vibration during the early testing phases but we removed it because you can't feel it when the phone is in a mount...
clearly there are other usage scenarios!
what's the gps reception like when in a pocket though?

You don't have a big butch motorcycle then, throbbing and vibrating all over the place? _________________ Dennis

Nice one Dennis.
I've used the Camera Alert in shirt pocket when driving the car, using parents car in Wales no phone holder, and wanted warning of cameras. It worked OK then for the cameras around where they live.
I'll give it a try when on the bike, trouble is I probably won't be able to here anything!!
Don't finish work until 1am this morning, so will have a slow ride past a couple of known cameras and see if I can here the warning, then will know it works, and post back.

Quick update of use in shirt pocket.
Allowed phone to get a GPS fix first, shirt pocket and on with leather jacket, helmet (no ear plugs), then rode home - 30mph roads in Wembley etc London.
I have the siren alert set to wail before any spoken command.
First camera is a red light, heard the siren wail easy enough, couldn't understand the spoken command though.
Second camera is a fixed 30. Heard the wail and the word 30.
Third set were p mobiles and heard the wail and and the word mobile.
Didn't hear any 'all clear' warnings.
So, I would say that at 30-35 mph in a shirt pocket at 1.15am the GPS signal works OK, and I can hear most of the spoken warnings.
At 70mph with wind noise, ear plugs - who knows!!
