hi i purchased a navigon 70 premium live off e bay with 11 months left on the contract, after i connected to fresh maps i saw it was not registered ,so i did all ok ,but after a week no live services,so i imputed the code from the hand book ,it stated wrong code.
i contacted navigon by phone and was told that i had to send them proof that the unit was mine, but i had registered it ??.
still waiting for reply ,is this correct?/ |

Yes, I think this is quite general - I had to do it with Garmin a few years back. You should be able to email a copy of your ebay receipt to them. (Slightly surprised you weren't asked for the purchase details when you registered it, to set the guarantee period, if there is any left.) Strange the handbook doesn't seem to match the device. I wonder if the seller had to replace a faulty unit (lots of people did!) and got the booklets mixed up - is it worth asking them?
Silly question I know, but you DID input the Live Services code, and not the 2-year map code? _________________ David

If you've already sent them the receipt or whatever, I'd go back sooner rather than later. _________________ David
