Hi
New to the forum and considering a move to a Satmap Active 10, at present I use a MIO P360 PDA with GPS and Memory Map V5 together with some historical maps (Linesman Trench Maps), am I able to use these with Satmap, or is Memory Map not compatible with this system? Look forward to any responses, most especially from anyone using this software already.

You can't use Memory Map mapping on the Satmap, you'll need to purchase the mapping from Satmap. You can however transfer routes & tracks back and forth between the two.

Until recently the Satmap Active 10 was quite expensive, but now that you can buy it for £320-£400 including the 1:50,000 GB OS Maps, it is very competitive. I also have Memory Map V5 and as the member above says, it is quite easy to transfer route/track Gpx files back and forth between MMV5 and SatMap10. A word of caution-see the Memory Map Forums before even considering the Memory Map Adventurer3500 GPS

Believe me i have owned both units in the past.
I won,t get into a debate about which is best, but memorymap have just announced a big upgrade to their ad3500, this will put right most grumbles the forum have been debating, if you own memorymaps v5 maps, its really worth your while taking a second look.

Just recieved my update, a screenlock that works, 90% of the problems the unit suffered were down to a lack of screenlock....... not now.
other problems also eradicated.
