I've been trying to use my usb 2.0 card reader to transfer documents faster. But whilst I can format and trasfer in the PC as soon as I put the card into another device - it can't see the data.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
It's like the PC is formatting the card in an alternative format to the device, but I have tried all available format types in Windows. Thanks in advance for any advice. |

What kind of card is it? SD or CF and what make? It may be useful to see if Softwinter's StorageTools can see the card and if so, test it, download it here.
It's a PocketPC util so download it, install to your handheld and then see if it can do anything to help. _________________ Darren Griffin |

If it's an SD card, post the markings from the back of the card, and I may be able to identify the manufacturer. Some manufacturer's SD cards are problematic.

I had the same problem with a SD Card.I could format it using a card reader and WinXP but IPAQ?Camera kept saying card needs formatting but the device could noy format it.I returned it where the shop tested it and said it was faulty and replaced the card. |
