Is that a statement or a question? I have RNEG too and would like the camera DB. |

Coincidentally we are looking at the Citroen MyWay system which I believe is the same unit and uses the same files.
The .lwd files appear to be encrypted. Until we can decode them and recreate with our data its a no I'm sorry to say but we are looking into it. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Well I took delivery of my nice shiny new 3008 last week.
Paid my £4.99 to peugeot connect and eagerly downloaded the speed camera locations file. First disappointment was that it's actually not reporting cameras that have been there for literally years, so I wonder just how old the data is.
Second was that it is only reporting in KM/H NOT mph, and its supposed to be 'UK compatible'
Oh and as for RNEG, whilst driving around Portsmouth last night, I found that the map was showing I was driving around roads on the Isle of Wight!
Needless to say its booked into the dealer for a check, but why do I get the feeling nothing wrong will be found?
Oh and I cant find anywhere where I can update the actual maps on the SD card....
Anyone know???? |

Good luck with this Darren as Im awaiting delivery of Peugeot 3008 with RNEG system (after they ordered it as an extra by mistake!). Suppose I will have to use CoPilot & your database on my phone for accurate camera warnings until you are successful.

Not good news so far, but if others have managed to crack the encryption or find a workaround then we will .... eventually! _________________ Darren Griffin |

No and impossible to say. Until we can decode the format we cannot create our own version, and so far we have been unable to decode it. _________________ Darren Griffin |

No, we've been unable to unencrypt the data format and so we cannot offer our data in the format.
If anyone can do so then great, but we've given up. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ok thanks for the update Darren. Fingers crossed that someone else can help and work out the format.
