It might be a dud as I bought it from Ebay a month ago, but I bought a Go 910 second hand, and it all worked perfectly initially with no problems.
I put it away for a couple of weeks and took it out today, plugged it into it's cradle, and plugged the charger on, then switched it on.
After 5 minutes it had still not found any satellites, and I also noticed that the battery icon was red and was flashing, so I wriggled the leads but it didn't make any difference, and after another minute it switched off.
I left it on charge in the car for about 3 hours, but it wouldn't even switch back on, so I brought it indoors and tried charging it on the home deck. It did then switch on very briefly, asking me if I wanted to connect to the computer, which I said "yes" to, but it then switched off again, and now theres absolutely nothing, no green light or anything.
It sounds to me its more of a charging fault, but could it be that the battery is so low that it won't even start charging, or could it be something else?

I had a similar problem with my first 910 a couple of years ago, but the green did come on.
It was a dry joint on the circuit board (I never did get round to fixing it .... very fiddly).
If the green light is not coming on, and you've tried both charging leads, it's probably a fault in the charging circuit. It's relatively easy to strip down but it's a pig to do any soldering on, unless you have a very small soldering iron, and a lot of patience. That's assuming you can find the faulty component.
I ended up buying a refurbished unit. I couldn't wait for me to get round to fixing it!
I can't think of anything to suggest, other than to leave it on charge overnight, but I don't think that will help because the green light is not on. _________________ Richard
