Hi,
Is there any way of changing the voice warning files for ones I have produced myself?.
The "shortened" warnings, for me are too short (always seem to miss them, by the time I've realised it's warning me, it's finished), and the "standard" warnings are too long. |

They are part of the fixed/hard programmed software.
I think the option could be added at a future date but it just complicates things for most people and best left alone. |

have you set up a pre-warning sound? eg 'siren' so you would get a 'woo woo, mobile, 30' so th siren would get your attention before the shorter warning is given?
also, if you set up the over speed alert then you will be alerted if you are over the set limit - so even if you missed the initial warning you would be warned if you were still too fast. setting this to male/female voice will repeat the speed for you.

I want to replace the siren.mp3 with a louder file which I copied and amplified.
The volume on the HTC Desire HD is not great and the loudspeaker is positioned at the back of the device which does not help. |
