Hi,
If I havent got internet access to Tyre when I am out and about, I use Autoroute 2010 to do my planning.
Does anyone know if there is a new version of Autoroute out, or if there is one in the pipeline.
Cheers |

Autoroute 2010 is the current version.
The previous version was 2007, so don't expect a new one before 2013. _________________ Richard

Thanks for the quick reply, at least I have the most recent one.
Although from what I can remember Microsoft was not going to put out its 2010 Version, hopefully they will put out another one in 2013 |

They always used to update every year, but at 2007 said they were stopping and issued a lovely new thing which was so much better and cost hundreds of pounds!
So I was pleased as punch to get 2010. Who knows, maybe they'll revert to annual updates. I got 2010 downloaded free trial, then bought the Disk version via internet. Previously I always kept an eye open for and bought renewals in the likes of PCWorld. _________________ Dennis

I supose when it comes to it how often do the roads change, a new version of the software every few years should be enough.
Unlike Tomtom you try to sell you updates every couple of weeks |

When they were released I downloaded both AutoRoute and MapPoint 2010 via my MSDN subscription for comparison.
When I connected my separate GPS device to the laptop it worked perfectly in MapPoint but under AutoRoute it failed to get a fix.
Apart from that, under normal use I found not a lot of difference. _________________ DashCam:
