Every time I read this sort of thing in the news or on forums, two words come to mind. And their not Sat Nav - you wouldn't let me post them, I'd be banned for life, or maybe 2 weeks.
'Stunned' driver? If a driver is stunned, they should see a doctor, they shouldn't be driving.
Oh, well. There's no point going further.
Back to the single malt and big fat gypsy weddings.

"big fat gypsy weddings"
Dear God. It's bad enough i can hear its dolcet tones creeping up the stairs but to then go and sully this forum with that program! I call for a one month ban - during which you can use those two words as much as you like!
I know these stories are old hat and all the same but it does help explain a few of the things i have to put up with each day..... |

"In 300 yards, turn right". So they turn right in 30 yards, crash into some stuff then walk away dribbling about how the "sat nav directed them into a driveway" or some such.
If the sat nav told them to drive of a cliff, - hey, there's an idea for getting the muppets off the road! _________________ Gone fishing! |

Hey here's a thought, I had an accident before Christmas as the car slid on black ice and snow. Maybe I should have blamed the satnav when the insurance comapny asked me was I responsible!
I think there maybe a question of setting an IQ test before allowing these Muppets to buy a Satnav in the first place! or maybe new instructions are required. At the end of the road, look left, look right and then drive into the nearest building. What fools!!!!! |

as they were elderly perhaps their hearing wasn't up to scratch and they simply didn't hear the last '0'?

I hope not! One day my TomTom will go pop and I'll need a new one. |
