Being too impatient, I've lost a walk I was transferring over to the SD card from the device....both disappeared.
However, on Satsync I can see it as a ".map" file Could somebody please tell me how to turn it back in to a route that I can view...thanks. |

Have you thought of exporting it to a .gpx file and then reimporting under another name? _________________ LostMike

Talking to Satmap, it seems that my SD card may have given up the ghost. My walk today defaults to the internal memory.....on transferring it to the card, all seems well...route and waypoint data is all there. However, on editing the route title, (all my local walks are prefixed with a 1) both the route and associated data have disappeared, apart from the new title. Clicking on it shows the 1:25 map, 0 Miles and just the start and stop flags !
They think that maybe, around my 100 saved walks is too much. I wonder if it's best to let them transfer my 7 saved, internal maps over to one of their cards, or whether I should supply the new card....4Gb ?? |
