Nuvi 265Wt speaker poor 1390T any better ?

Hi

I just changed from an old tom tom to the 265Wt. The main reason for the move to Gramin was the free traffic updates. Although the unit is quite different and definitely slower I like it.

The biggest problem is the audio when using the bluetooth. Its really quiet and distorts quite badly. Is the 1390 any better ? The sound on my tom tom was way better.

Also I can't see a way of turning off the mobile speed camera alerts. Driving round the a406 it wouldn't stop beeping at me !

Do any other manufacturers offer free traffic updates ?

To turn them ALL off, on my nuvi 255, it's Tools...Settings...Proximity Points...Change and uncheck the box(es).

To turn off just the mobiles, well leave them out of the PGPSW upload folder.
