Hi Forum,
I'd like to check something with any of you who are running Telmap5 on BB 9800 Torch.
We have made a change on our server that should enable your getting your approximate location based on the mobile network.
What you should see is - while indoors (i.e. with NO GPS reception) Telmap5 should display a map of your location with a blue circle - it's a larger circle and not a focused point since the location is approximate.
See the example below:
Thanks

Added my 'Yes' to the Poll. It shows the blue circle and states an accuracy for me in the middle of the office as 1km |

I don't seem to have the ability to respond to the poll, but the mobile network location feature is working for me as you describe. I have a Torch 9800 with OS 6.0.0.337. |

HI Ludrus,
Thanks for your input - it's good to hear that network location is working for you.
If I remember - I had placed a time limit on the poll - that's why you couldn't answer.
tks
