My order for a TT3 upgrade was posted and validated by TomTom on April 20th. On May 31th, the product is still not delivered. Despite several complaints since 2 weeks, the customer services refuse to give no more satistying reply than "We will give you a detailed reply in a few days". May be should I bring the case to justice ? |

Look on the bright side, at least you've had a response. I am also waiting for TomTom3.
The only response to emails is "we are no longer monitoring this email box, and are therefore unable to respond to this message. Please go to our website http://www.tomtom.com : we have redesigned this site to make it easier for you to find answers to your questions about our products. If you cannot find what you are looking for, you will also be able to contact us with a request for information or for support."
I must be a bit thick 'cause I'm unable to find a way to contact them.

Ordered 15 May, paid 20 May, still waiting 2 June. This seems a pretty good way of getting cash in the bank knowing that goods are not in stock. Stories of distribution problems and staff working 24/7 do not cut the mustard. After all if you can download maps and upgrades to programmes why not the TT3 upgrade. Like many others who get carried away with their own success methinks TT are taking us all for a ride and annoyingly laughing all the way to the bank or lachend al manier aan de bank mijnheer. |

Still nothing from TomTom. Does anyone have an email address for the company, seeing as they choose not to provide one on their website?

Try the FAQ page:

I believe you need to create an account though first... _________________ Ian.

Yup, created account, still can't get an email address. Does ANYONE have a DIRECT email address for these people, or is it just a scam.

Probably not much of an idea but have you tried the return address from their news letter by maybe substituting the "news " part of it !!! ... tomtom_news@tomtom.com> ..There is an underscore between tomtom and news which is hard to see by the link underline
best of luck |

I'd contact them in the way I do any UK based company when I need an urgent answer, I'd phone them. +31 20 4469 469 is their number and being Dutch, they're bound to speak good English. |

I think sometimes companies under estimate how succesesfull a product
is going to be.
Now that the innitial release is over with they will probably get on top of it all
an example of this i sent a receiver back to them on tuesday last week that went faulty on me, by friday I had a replacement delivered by DHL
Waltham Abbey Essex to Holland and back in 3 days is pretty good.
I reckon they are a victim of there own success

manufacturers always sell their products for more than you can get it in the shops. |

The tomtom guys are really helpful, if you can't get any joy from e-mail, they either have no new news for you or there was a problem with the mail sent. If you are really frustrated call them on 08451 610009. The line is open from 9AM until 4PM. |
