Navigating from a non-road (new version)

The latest update to TT3 seems to have altered the way routes are displayed when starting a journey away from a road.

My work car park is some distance from the main road. In the previous version of TT3, my route would not be displayed until I had joined the road.

This version displays the route from the car park.
This means I know which way to turn onto the road before I've joined the main road.

Well that is the way it appears to be working for me. Would be interested if anyone else has noticed this.

Noticed that when the GPS signal strays (i.e. 1/2 marginal satellites), and the position jumps off the road, TTN3 draws a dashed line intersecting back to the road, at right-angles.
