traffictv problems with iPhone and 3

I think maybe we need to have a forum by topic rather than mainly by brand. However, this post is about traffictv and the iPhone 3GS with the 3 network.

My 3GS version iPhone works perfectly for data with either an o2, vodaphone or tesco sim card inserted.

When I try and use my 3 (Three) sim card all data works fine EXCEPT for the traffictv application. Telephone calls to 3 and to mxdata (the traffictv company) have not solved or worked out the problem.

All the other apps work except this one with my 3 sim card. I have tried four sim cards from the 3 network. Including going into a 3 shop and using one of their SIM cards from an iPhone.

BUT, the 3 sim card works for traffictv in my Nokia and Samsung phones.

All the experts at 3 and traffictv cannot figure out the problem so I just raise this here in case someone has managed to get their 3 network SIM card to work on the 3GS or 4 version iPhone, using traffictv.

PS don't be confused by it working if you are using wifi. i want to use the 3 network signals.
