I've been trying access saynoto0870 for a couple of days, but the connection keeps timing out.
I'd be grateful if someone could try it and let me know if it's the same for them.
Thanks. _________________ Anita

Thanks for the replies, guys.
I've never had a problem before. Will have to look into it. _________________ Anita

Still haven't found what the problem is, but I have found this site, which I shall use in future to save bothering everyone here! _________________ Anita

Not sure about your alternative site Anita - I just checked 'sayno...' and it's fine but when I put the address into 'downfor...' that says it IS down! _________________ David

That's strange.
I've just tried it again and it says "It's just you. http://saynoto0870.com is up", as it did earlier. _________________ Anita

it's most likely your DNS server acting up. Try using http://www.opendns.com/ as your DNS server instead. They've instructions on the site on how you can do this. I've been using them for well over two years now, and not looked back. _________________ Roger, G1LIW

Problem with opendns is that if you mistype a url, instead of error 404 so that you can correct your mis type it redirects you elsewhere. With my bad typing, I found it a pain in the butt. I used dnsbench to find a couple of fast dns servers that didn't re-direct, and pointed my router at these |

Thanks to both of you for the tip. I'll look into it.
It's OK again now. I didn't do anything, it just started connecting again after a couple more days, so you may well be right. _________________ Anita
