|
|
Hi,
I've just updated my TT940 Live from TT Home and the version now installed is 9.054. Since uploading this afternoon, my Live services do not work. I get a screen saying:
"Warning: There is something wrong with your SIM card. Please contact TomTom Customer Support. Error code 1008."
All was working today prior to the update.
As usual, I was waiting on the phone until the helpdesk closed, with no resolution.
Can anyone help please? I could really do with my Live services tomorrow.
I do have a full Internet Explorer backup if absolutely necessary.
I have a monthly subscription to Live and it is current.
Many thanks

Put your backup back on so that you've got a working unit (I hope that's WINDOWS Explorer, not Internet Explorer).
Then go read through THIS LOT and discuss there if still necessary. _________________ Dennis

Rest assured, you are not alone.
The ONLY way you will get the LIVE Services back quickly is by rolling back to v8 software.
Then sit back and wait, it could be some time..... |

DennisN & Andy_P
Many thanks for your replies.
Thankfully all restored to nornmality after rollback of software.
Can't think how TT can release major software updates with such incomplete testing!
If anyone wishes to (or can) close this thread, I'll pick it up on the TomTom general forum.
