gps disabled message within tomtom

Hi

all using a ipaq 2210
and a haicom 330E CF gps
and tomtom 3

card picked up on com port 7

the issue i am having is that tomtom just says gps disabled

but the program that came with the gps card shows it to be working fine and finding Satellites

any 1 any ideas

am stuck and lost 8O

COM7 sounds suspicious. Try specifying this manually in the TomTom GPS module, and set it to NMEA 4800 (or whatever speed the CF manufacturer told you) at COM4. Then check the box, and see if the dots start flying.

I got this message after I had deleted the fudge TomTom GPS ~ driver, I also couldn't load the GPS package that comes with TomTom though as software was missing......

we have the 2.07 GPS driver in our downloads page. Why don't you try that one?
