No you are not wrong V860 is the latest current map version. I guess the e-mails are aimed at those that don't connect their nav units to the PC on a regular basis or even know you can update a map at all - Mike |

By "Winter Maps" do they mean the ones where downloads of the MapShare corrections are frozen?

It is simply marketing by email - everybody on their list gets the emails to the address to which the TT device is registered - hence Mike gets (doesn't get) the email addressed to his GO920 address of upyourstomtom@home2.com. I myself get about seven to my unfortunately genuine addresses for that many device registrations (I don't receive the ones to defunct addresses, of course). Then another seven when they run the reminder emails. Then another seven when they run the last minute reminder emails. Then another seven when they run the will soon expire offer emails. then another seven when they run the last chance reminder emails. _________________ Dennis

Winter maps are the ones with free de-icer, where as the summer maps come with free sun cream. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,
