|
|
Hi,
I am thinking of trying out the beta once I can actually download it (some thing is wrong with the download link at the moment as others have mentioned).
I tend to travel a lot for work and so take my sat nav box with me but having just got a blackberry I could use this instead.
Does the beta work across multiple countries or would I have to stick with the main version for that?
Thanks in advance,
John |

Hi Kiemo,
The version we distribute has extensive global coverage including Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand parts of APAC and more.
Essentially you can just get off the plane, fire up Telmap5, "Change country" in the Search box and you're ready to go
Please note that when traveling you will likely be paying roaming data charges so keep that in mind.
thanks

kiemo,
Just to confirm, I use it all the time for driving from France to Germany etc. All works fine. |

Just wondering for future reference (once I receive an activation code that actually works), will you ever support Navigation in Japan?
I am unable to find any mobile or car solution that works in Japan in English. |

H Niels,
As they say "forever is a long time" so will we ever have coverage in Japan? Perhaps, however this is not in our near-term roadmap.
thanks

Thanks for the heads up.
I'll still use Telmap in Europe though. Now if someone could point me to a .jp solution for Blackberry, I'd be forever grateful.
p.s. Code working now, needed to re-type and use caps... my mistake. |
