Hi,

I have the normal voices on my 720 (and they work OK) and have downloaded "Kate" (I wanted to have Kate tell me the road names etc). Unfortunately, Tom Tom Home advised that there was insufficient room on the internal hard disc, so I loaded it onto the SD card. But now I cannot get Kate to speak, she is there in the options in change voices, but will not speak under any circumstances.

Also, POI warnings will not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In theory, having the Loquendo folder and its contents on a card while the map resides either on the card or internal should work. However, in practice, it seems the LoquendoTTS folder should be on internal.

So, using Explorer, do you see a Loquendo folder on both internal and the card? I'd do this: If you have a 4-gig sdhc card, use that. Store the specific map on the card. Have all computer voices on internal. This should now work.

[It may mean deleting Kate using Home to remove the voice (or just use Explorer to delete the Loquendo from the card), then use Explorer to move your map to the card and re-downloading Kate --- selecting Internal when Home asks what storage area you want to use.]
