Hi,
My wife is getting a new TT go V4 classic & I wondered if the maps on her unit would work with my TT 730 that I brought some time back & never updated the maps for the UK.
Any idea ?
Thanks |

In a word ..... "No" .. (legally).
The maps need to be activated to your device. This is done automatically by TT Home and is the only LEGAL way of doing it.
Discussions regarding non-legal methods are, I believe, against the forum rules. |

The map for the One is a different cut to that used by the 730 so even if you managed to get it activated it wouldn't work very well as the advanced lane guidance, reality view and IQ Routes data would all be missing, forget the idea - Mike |

Didn't think it would & if I thought it would be illegal I would not have posted that didn't even cross my mind. Looks like I might need to pay for a map upgrade as mine is out of date.
Thanks for reply. |

Before you do update your maps, by using your wifes SatNav check out how many of the roads you use have been updated , they may not be all that different. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
