Garmin 765T switching off signal t car radio

Since updating my Garmin 765T to the latest software the instrution signal to my cars radio is broken every 30 seconds !

Garmin have informed me that this is an EEC directive to avoid internfierance to other listeners in the area.

What they have not realised is that when the signal is cut between the two units the car radio either emiits a load whistleing noise or I usuall get radio 2 bleeding through !

Any suggestions on how to put the 765T back to the as purchased condition as this noise is both annoying and distracting whilst driving.

Put a silent mp3 track on the device and set it playing constantly this will stop the radio transmitter dropping out - Mike
