Sound like an ANPR cam trapping untaxed/uninsured vehicles. They normally just send the NIP in the post if it was a speed trap. |

I got copped this morning at 5am.
No street lighting.
Apparently i was clocked at 85 in a 60 over 800 ft,but i know i was doing 70mph by speedo = 67 on the satnav.
I was given a 60 quid fine and 3 points.
im thinking of contesting the coviction in court.
But what i need to know is.
Do these truvelo laser guns really work in the dark |

Don't think they're made by Truvelo....
Some answers from http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk
Quote: | Q. Can laser guns work in the dark?
A. Yes, some newer systems now also have a eye safe flash to illuminate the vehicle
Q. Can they target the back of the car?
A. Yes, the front and the rear of a vehicle are fair game
Q. What range do laser guns have?
A. Some laser guns can now work up to and over a 1 mile away with no problem. You won,t even see them, the first you know is the ticket you get. |

The best place to get advice about contesting it is the PePiPoo website. _________________ Anita

it was a truvelo handheld, grey in colour and two glass lenses side by side on the front and a square eye piece on the top and it was 8 to 10 inches long with a basic display on the back.quite a bulky thing |

Must admit, I'd never heard of TruVelo making hand-held laser guns.
Sounds like a ProLaser II or ProLaser III, and Kustom Signals say they make them...
...but then so do TruVelo.za!
