I have a new Garmin 2515LT replacing an old Nuvi 310 I am trying to load the National Trust POI along with English Heritage etc but the result when viewed on the satnav apears under custom POI's is that all the items are mixed in together, there are no icons and no method of selecting from a particular catagory I apear to have followed the instructions and the zip file has the icons and structure. any advice would be much apreciated |

When you have selected the ones you want on the download page you need to tick the box that says "separate files for subcategories" (or words to that effect) - that will give separate files instead of bundling it all together.

Sorry but I tried it both ways, also when I loadesd just one sub- catagory and the selected custom POI on the garmin it apears to show items not in that catagory or in the download as well |

Must be something you are doing wrong, there's no way I can see that if you genuinely load ONE sub-category that it ends up showing items from other categories.
I would check your upload directory. All POI files that you want to install need to be in one directory which you point POILoader at.
Is POI loder looking t a different directory to what you think it is? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

i have the same problem on Garmin 2495. All imported POI go into 'custom POI' as one long list, no sub categories. |

In This Post it shows how to load multiple POI 'sets'.
You should be able to do something similar, using different filenames. _________________ Richard
