Latest Maps Zap previous on PC !

When I updated my maps to 2010.10 I was left with the previous versions on my PC which I could still access through Mapsource. You could home in on a small area on the current maps and then switch to the previous version to see what had changed. When I activated 2010.20 it removed 2010.10 without asking me. Unfortunately I wanted to retain 2010.10 to support a case that I have against Toyota for supplying out of date maps on a brand new car's SatNav. I hope that I will not need to use extracts as evidence! Oddly Mapsource has retained the NT8 and 2008 maps, presumably tucked away in a different folder.

Also, when updating I got the message that I could not upload everything, because of space limitations, and was asked what region I wanted to load - WITHOUT OFFERING MULTIPLE SELECTIONS. I opted for GB & NI and then had to use Mapinstall to add the rest. I only had to omit some obscure bits of Finland for the rest to fit. So now I have two maps instead of one and need to switch. Grrr

Both those things are appalling programming!

I contacted Garmin support and they are sending me the DVD which I acn install just on the PC. Good for Garmin!
